Josh Ross, President and CEO

As President and CEO of Kerauno LLC, Josh guides the corporate direction and provides the overall vision for making Kerauno the premier global communications workflow as a service platform.

Josh is a lifetime entrepreneur and visionary leader in the communications technology space. Prior to co-founding Kerauno, Josh co-founded Axia Technology Partners (AxiaTP) where, under his guidance, sales revenue experienced a triple digit growth, year over year. His business dealings have included Fortune 100, Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies across the country.

Josh holds a B.S. in Business Management from Indiana State University.

Jason Ross, Co-founder

As Co-founder and Chief Product Evangelist of Kerauno LLC, Jason is focused on building strategic partnerships and emphasizing the power and versatility of the Kerauno communications workflow platform. He helps businesses understand how to utilize the workflow, collaboration and integration tools within Kerauno to help optimize their business processes through communications.

Jason brings more than 20 years of experience in both software and telecommunications leadership to Kerauno. Prior to co-founding Kerauno, Jason co-founded Axia Technology Partners (AxiaTP), where he was instrumental in the architecture, design and launch of the Axia Advantage PBX platform as well as the Axia Advantage Predictive and Auto Dialer products. Jason also played a pivotal role in the architecture and design of the AxiaTP nation-wide VoIP network and Communications as a Service (CaaS) platforms. 

Jason holds a B.S. in Management from Indiana State University.

Don Scifres, Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Don is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Kerauno, LLC. Don brings over 30 years of executive experience in the business, entrepreneurship, investment and technology sectors to Kerauno. He is a Co-founder and General Partner of Vision Tech Partners and Vision Tech Angels, the largest angel investor community in Indiana, which focuses on investments in information technology, life science and medical device firms throughout the United States. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bloomerang and the Lutheran Church Extension Fund, and previously served on Board of Directors or Advisors for 250ok, SmarterHQ and AppPress, among others.

Prior to joining Kerauno, Don held leadership positions with several prominent companies, including Cummins Inc., Irwin Mortgage and ANGEL Learning. While at ANGEL Learning, Don served as the Vice President of Services and helped scale the company in the education technology space. In doing so, the company’s revenue grew from $7 million to $22 million in two and a half years before being sold to Blackboard in 2009 for $100 million.

Don holds a B.S. in Technology from Purdue University, and executive degrees from the University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and the Cornell University S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management. He is a 2014 Distinguished Alumnus of Purdue University.

Jeff Stickel, CTO

A proven leader with nearly 30 years in software development, Jeff is responsible for establishing and executing on the technology vision for Kerauno. As we anticipate explosive growth, Jeff is responsible for scaling our highly secure, highly available platform, as well as our extraordinary team of dedicated engineers to meet our customers demand for our services. 

Jeff spent the last 6 years leading a software development organization for Salesforce in Indianapolis, prior to which he worked for more than 20 years as a software development and integration consultant.

Jeff holds bachelor’s degrees in computer science and mathematics from Illinois State University, and a masters in computer science from Purdue University. 

Scott Whitlock, Vice President of Sales

Scott is responsible for Kerauno’s overall sales strategies, growth initiatives and investments in strategic alliances across the globe. Bringing nearly 20 years of experience in establishing customer relationships, scaling sales teams and building strategic partnerships, Scott sets the tone for Kerauno’s sales culture and go-to-market strategy.

Prior to joining Kerauno, he held executive sales roles a Vidyo, a pioneer in video collaboration workflows, and Bluejeans, a very early entrant into the interoperable video conferencing market. Scott was also a part of the pre-acquisition sales force at WebEx, which was later purchased by Cisco Systems for $3 billion. He has sold complex enterprise deals to some of the largest global companies and mobilized partner sales teams at AT&T, Verizon and many of the largest national consultative sales organizations.

Jennifer Dalton, CPA – Vice President of Finance

Jennifer is responsible for leading the finance and accounting operations, as well as providing critical support for the owners and management team. She also oversees the human resources, legal, and office administration functions. Prior to joining Kerauno, she was a Senior Manager at a public accounting firm where she specialized in tax and financial strategy for closely held businesses and their owners.

Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with distinction from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with majors in Accounting, Finance, and Computer Information Systems. She serves on the Finance Committee for her church and as Treasurer for her local elementary school’s Parent-Teacher Organization.

Jeremy Brilliant, Director of Communications

In his role as Director of Communications, Jeremy is responsible for all internal and external communications and brand awareness. He also serves as primary media contact and company spokesman.

Prior to joining Kerauno, Jeremy served as communications director for the Office of Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill where he was responsible for all internal and external communications as well as marketing and outreach.

Jeremy spent more than 20 years as a television journalist, most recently at WTHR in Indianapolis. He also worked both on-air and behind the scenes in television news while living in the Middle East in the 1990’s.

Jim McIntosh, Director of Product Management

As Director of Product Management, Jim has ownership of the strategic product plan and practical release roadmap, serving also as the chief evangelist for the vision and future of the product to internal and external stakeholders.

Jim brings nearly 20 years of experience developing, marketing, and selling products to global enterprise brands including GE, Siemens, Microsoft, Live Nation and Disney while leading product teams at ExactTarget and Octiv.

Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics from the Purdue University School of Technology.

Pat Lockwood, Director of Project Management

Pat is responsible for standardizing the structure and processes that govern project management, in order to maintain a consistent, positive experience for customers.

Pat brings more than 30 years of experience with technology, sales and project management to Kerauno. He previously worked at SDLC Partners – a privately held consulting firm – as a regional director of business development. Prior to that, Lockwood held positions at Batesville Casket, Logicalis, MindGent LLC, Solution Technology Inc. and IBM.

Pat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and is PMP certified.

Jay Lesandrini, Director of Training and Education

As Director Training and Education, Jay is responsible for creating and implementing onboarding, training, and the continuing education of customers, channel partners, and internal staff.

Jay has been entrenched in the technology space for more than 20 years, working in a variety of roles including product education, information design, consumer experience, product management, business development, and product marketing.

He holds a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature, and an MFA in Creative Writing – all from Butler University. He is also a published author with essays and short stories appearing in a variety of literary journals.
